Historic Event at Women’s Memorial

Executive Women in Government in partnership with the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, hosted a historic event at the Women’s Memorial in Arlington last Monday, June the 29th. The event honored the legacy of Executive Women in Government by recognizing the incredible accomplishments of EWG’s first President Major General Jeanne Holm and also taking the opportunity to install the new 2015-2016 officers.

The event was first opened by the Honorable Barbara Hackman Franklin, the former Secretary of Commerce and founder of Executive Women in Government. The keynote address was provided by Brigadier General Wilma Vaught, U.S. Air Force, who highlighted the achievements of Major General Holm, and how together they were able to make the Women’s memorial a reality. General Vaught also installed our new officers, Colonel Elizabeth Borelli, Ms. Barbara Mullen-Roth, Ms. Kim Berns, Ms. Tracy Murrell, and our past president, Ana Hinojosa.
