Join us for the timeless ritual of Holiday Tea with the Executive Women in Government (EWG) on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 from 3 – 5:30 p.m. Partake in a vibrant afternoon of festivities, executive conversation, networking and delicious tea. Treat a prospective EWG member to this enduring tradition honored in a luxurious setting while being pampered with the legendary Ritz-Carlton service.

Executive Women in Government (EWG) is very pleased to have Deborah Tannen speak with EWG and share her inside knowledge on Women’s patterns of communication and miscommunication that affects friendships at different stages of women’s lives. Her stories are both entertaining and factual , based on her interviews with over 80 women from 90-97.

The EWG 2017-2018 Mentoring Program cohort came together at the Women’s Memorial to participate in the Dynamic Mentoring Connections – a session designed to acquaint mentors and protégés with the benefits of mentoring and explains how the mentoring program is structured. It also gives participants the opportunity to understand program expectations, and to learn how to identify and select a mentoring partner.

Attendees were inspired by Commissioner Dye as she discussed her career as an executive through changes in each Administration. Commissioner Dye imparted many actionable and practical tools of leadership and engagement. One of her lifelong recommendations is to build friendships, expand your network and to treat others well.
